There’s a lot to love about working from home. I’m particularly fond of the part where I’m physically cut off from the rest of the human race. My charming blend of antisocial character flaws are uniquely well-suited for the social distancing era. The introverts shall inherit the earth. But an often overlooked benefit of working from home is that I can adjust my schedule. In the before time, when the world was open and a hand shake wasn’t a death sentence, my goal was to get to work by 8 a.m. To make that happen, I had to wake up two hours earlier to shower, dress, and prepare four extremely unmotivated kids for the outside world. Imagine a pack of sloths glued to the floor, but slower. But now, nobody in my house ever leaves. To get to work on time, I merely have to roll over in bed and turn on my laptop. Gone are the commute, the daily fights with my kids, and any incentive to shower. I wake up at 6:55 a.m. to start by 7 a.m. That means I get done with my work day earlier, too. I now…
