Discussion Thread: Do You Use a Top Sheet?

I always find controversy where I least expect it. I, as a normal adult human, sleep with a top sheet. I’m gross and need a layer of protection between myself and the comforter. Otherwise, I’d have to wash the comforter all the time. Apparently other people feel differently. In Wisconsin, our bed in the guest room didn’t have a top sheet. Our host said she never uses them on beds. Instead, she repurposes them as paint drop cloths. I shouldn’t judge. Only one of my kids uses a top sheet, even though they all have them available for their beds. In fact, Waffle sleeps on top of her comforter and covers up with a separate blanket. Clearly, I’ve failed as a parent, but we all already knew that. Do you use a top sheet? Sound off in the comments.
