Have you ever accidentally held onto something that ended up being worth a ton of money? I mentioned my Lego pirate ship, which could sell for $950 at a secondhand store if I had the time and energy to find all the pieces. When you factor in how much time it would take be to dig them out, I would probably only make about five dollars an hour. That’s a fools way to pursue wealth. That Lego reseller had a single minifig of a specific Boba Fett variant that they were selling for a thousand dollars. It wasn’t even in mint condition. Both of its arms were cracked. Finding out you have that in an old bin of Legos would be like winning the lottery. Do you have anything lurking in your attic or in a forgotten drawer that turned out to be worth its weight in gold? Sound off in the comments.
