Discussion Thread: Hospital Survival Tips

I don’t mean “survival” literally. Presumably, the hospital staff will do that part for you. Otherwise, what are you paying them for? Instead, for this week’s discussion thread, I wanted to swap more trivial tips for getting through a hospital stay in the least unpleasant way possible. This topic has been on my mind lately for some reason. For me, the best tip was to take clothes. Had Lola not thought to bring them for me, I would have been naked under my hospital gown for my entire stay. That would have been unfortunate for everyone. Instead, I was able to wear my own clothes after surgery as long as they fit around my various tubes and IVs. What are your tips? Share them in the comments.
