Discussion Thread: Nostalgic Candy

Is there a candy that instantly transports you to another time and place? I don't mean literally. If a brand of candy actually caused time travel or teleportation, they'd have to disclose that on the nutrition label. For me, there are certain types of candy that I can't have without instantly bringing up intense memories from long ago. Every time I have a full-size Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, I'm immediately back in my grandma's tiny house. I mean a small house, not one of those garden sheds disguised as a home that are now trendy on HGTV.  My grandma wasn't a hipster, just poor. Nonetheless, she always splurged to have an entire sleeve of peanut butter cups on hand when my family and I came to visit. And every time, it took us about thirty seconds to make them all disappear. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups have the shortest survival time of any candy, at least when I'm around. The only way for them to be gone any quicker is if I could inject them directly into my veins.
