Discussion Thread: Storm Stance

During severe weather, do you hunker down away from doors and windows like you’re supposed to, or do you go outside to have a look? I have distinct memories of my dad going outside to do the latter during a tornado warning. I thought he was crazy, yet, when I became a dad, I couldn’t help but do the same. No tornado is going to sneak up on me. The last time we had a storm, the girls did their best impression of me and all Midwestern dads. Do you look, or do you hide? Or do you do neither and just ignore the storm while reading a good book? Sound off in the comments.
