Discussion Thread: Surprise Pets
What’s the most memorable way you ended up with a pet? I traded a tweet for a pig, which will always be my proudest accomplishment. I supposed rescuing Onyx from behind a destroyed house was quite an experience as well. As for the guinea pigs, we ended up with those after Betsy sent me a random text message in the middle of the day saying that her friend was giving them away. If she had texted Lola instead, we probably would have missed our guinea pig era entirely. Only one of us is a hopeless pushover for taking in unnecessary pets.
