Discussion Thread: Your Tech Nemesis
What is your tech nemesis? Mine is Apple TV. I can’t watch Major League Soccer without it. Apple doesn’t trust me because I don’t own an iPhone, an iPad, or an i-anything else. When I log in, it makes me verify who I am over and over again in a frustrating loop. Apple doesn’t trust me because it assumes I’m poor. I’m not saying it’s wrong. I just resent it being acknowledge so openly. A few weekends ago, I spent two hours trying to buy a year of Apple TV. The app wouldn’t let me. I ended up creating a new account under a new email address and agreeing to pay month by month. Yesterday, my old, inactive account suddenly paid for a year at once. Now I get to spend two hours trying to cancel my new account. Well played, Apple. What tech company or product gives you the most trouble? Sound off in the comments.
