“The pig has a knife!”
Those weren't the words I wanted to hear on Christmas Eve. Or on any other day for that matter. Pigs are generally better pets when they’re unarmed. My wife's sister, Misty, was at our house one day last week to make Christmas cookies with the kids. It’s the kind of thing that sounds like good, wholesome fun until you realize any activity that involves multiple kids quickly devolves into group combat. I was home, but I gave Misty and the kids some space so I wouldn’t be collateral damage. It only takes one wayward sprinkle to the eye to learn to keep your distance.
Misty baked enough cookies to feed a small army of Santas, but she couldn’t hold the kids’ attention.
