The assignment hasn't actually started yet, but it's coming. My 12-year-old, Betsy, has been talking about it for weeks. She's so nervous, but I'm not sure why. Even caring for actual children isn't that hard. I have yet to scramble any of my real kids, although I guess there’s still time. Age eighteen is a long way away.
As for Betsy, she keeps her sister's alive on a regular basis when she babysits. Then again, they do come away with a lot of bumps and bruises. That fragile eggshell won't be so forgiving. Maybe she should be worried after all.
That was the inspiration for today's webcomic.
