I’ve never been overly coordinated, but I didn’t realize quite how clumsy I am until last Friday when I played Axis and Allies. No matter how hard I tried, I could never move the right pieces without bumping everything else with these oven mitts I call hands. Perhaps that’s why I shy away from hobbies that require finger dexterity. I could never cross stitch like Lola. I wouldn’t merely botch the pattern; I’d bleed out. Yes, I know the needle is blunt, but that wouldn’t save me. I’ll stick to my plastic army guys, even if half of them are always knocked on their sides.
