Due to the holiday weekend, the regularly scheduled Monday newsletter will come out Tuesday. I’m so disappointed in all of you for spending your time off with friends and family members. Clearly I’ve taught you nothing over all these years. In the meantime, here’s a birthday interview with my oldest daughter, Betsy. I try to do one of these videos every year to keep track of how the kids change over time. You always hear me give my side of the story. Here are things from Betsy’s point of view.
The day before my 13th birthday, JFK was assassinated. Nobody felt like celebrating my b'day that year, but that event means I'll never forget when I turned 13. I certainly hope Betsy didn't have anything too "dramatic" happen. I'm looking forward to this coming first year of her teenaged years. Bet she'll handle it quite well!
That was really enjoyable! And I follow you on youtube so don’t even go there. You get pleanty of hits. Bets is going to be remarkable, like her mother. :D.
Betsy is so grown up. Happy birthday! And my condolences on having a teenager. She seems okay so maybe you’ll get lucky, but our kids all went bonkers as teens. It’s like the terrible twos again with more attitude and clever insults.
Happy Birthday to Betsy! Her eloquence became even more mindblowing. I appreciate her liking Forza (here's a question - which edition is it?) - simracing can be very satisfying.
She's also not the only one specifying with that reasons why she wants to be a paediatrician - my cousin's fiancee stated exacly the same, only adding that for her patients form every other age group stink. And I can confirm that the schools in the former eastern bloc are looking depressing, the painting helps only a little bit.

My friend is head of the NICU at a local hospital. He only deals with newborns, so Betsy is on the right track.
