I'm glad Lola is feeling better, Covid is brutal. I had long Covid three times in 2021 for all but 12 days of the years, I totally felt like it was a Covid curse. Haven't had it since so the vaccine may be working, that or it has something to do with locking myself in the house all the time, LOL.

The last time I had a COVID test, I swear she pushed that swab so far up my nose that I heard the 'psshhh' sound as it punctured my blood/brain barrier.

I was supposed to have my wedding in 2020 as well. I also ended up having a tiny ceremony (just our immediate families in the local park.) I was also supposed to have a "make-up" reception one year later in 2021 that got postponed. I'm also currently pregnant (6 months instead of 7 months though).
And now I'm just kicking myself for thinking that I couldn't try for yet another make-up reception this year just because I'm pregnant. Having the baby shower immediately after the wedding? That's genius! Please tell the happy couple that they're absolute geniuses and I'm kicking myself for not having the same idea. That's efficiency incarnate right there.

Congrats to the "newlyweds" and the long awaited wedding! Our daughter and husband waited 13 years before their marriage and we had the best time ever at the whole shebang .....'twas worth the wait! And I'm sending best wishes for mama to have a smooth delivery and the baby be healthy and perfect.
