During the teacher's strike here in Mesa,Az a couple of years back (before pandemic so before distance learning) the kids were off for 2 weeks and they did not have to make a day up because, come to find out there is a built in 3 weeks extra. Why??? It's Mesa, Az., we don't get snow like I did going to school in Cincinnati, so just why are those 3 extra weeks in the schedule? Glad I am done, my youngest graduated last year and is taking a year off then going to NAU. I did figure out something that happened the day he graduated, I now have no idea what day of the week or the date is, and I am seriously liking this LOL
